Booking

Your price is based on the chargeable weight — the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (length × width × height ÷ the volumetric divisor) — plus the zone pair for your route, the service level you choose, and any add-ons such as COD handling or insurance. Every component is itemised before you pay.

Large but light packages take up space that a carrier could otherwise sell. Volumetric weight converts a package's size into an equivalent weight. If it exceeds the actual weight, it becomes the chargeable weight.

A partner only appears if it covers both your pickup and delivery pincodes, supports the package type and weight, supports COD when you have selected it, has an active rate card for the route, and has capacity left today.

You can compare rates and see prices without an account. Creating a booking requires one so you can track the shipment, download invoices and raise support tickets.

Cancellation

Yes, at any time before the shipment is picked up. The refund amount, including any cancellation fee, is shown before you confirm.

Wallet refunds are instant. Refunds to the original payment method depend on your bank and the gateway, typically a few working days.

Partners

Register through "Become a Courier Partner", submit your business documents, and our team reviews the application. Once approved you can publish services, service areas and rate cards.

Listing is free. We charge a commission on completed bookings only, agreed when your account is approved and itemised on every settlement statement.

Bookings become settleable after delivery plus a short hold period. Settlements run on your agreed cycle — weekly, biweekly or monthly — with a statement listing every booking.

Yes. The platform ships with an adapter architecture for shipment creation, cancellation, tracking, rate lookup, labels and POD. Contact us to enable an adapter for your systems.

Payment

Online payment through the configured gateway, and your Shipza wallet. Business accounts approved for credit terms can also book on account.

Yes, where the courier partner supports it. COD refers to collecting the shipment value from the recipient — the freight charge itself is paid at booking.

Tracking

Enter your tracking number on the Track page, or open the booking in your dashboard. Every status change is recorded with a timestamp and location.

On delivery the courier records the recipient's name and captures a signature or photo. You can download the POD from your booking once it is uploaded.
